Baked Pear Recipe:

6 large pears
1 - 2 cups of sugar
1/8th - 1/4th cup vanilla
1 tbs cinnamon

Peel pears
Cut tops off pears
Scoop out seeds from middle
Stand pears in a pie plate
Mix cinnamon & sugar
Fill hollowed areas with sugar/cinnamon mix
Use remainder of cinnamon/sugar mix to coat pears
Pour vanilla into hollowed areas
Put tops back on pears
Pour remainder of vanilla over pears
Cover with tin foil
Bake at 375 degrees for 1 - 2 hours
(until pears are soft & easily pierced when poked with a fork. cook time will depend on ripeness of pears)
