Whole Wheat Banana Raisin Bread
Ingredients
- 4 over-ripe bananas mashed (about 1 1/2 cups)
- 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon real vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 cup real maple syrup
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts optional
Instructions
- Thoroughly combine ingredients in a large bowl with an electric mixer.
- Pour batter into a greased 9x5 inch loaf pan and bake at 325 degrees for 65 to 75 minutes.
- Allow to cool for approximately 30 minutes, then enjoy!
