On day 20 of the Whole30 we took a family trip to the YMCA gym and I beat my old record on the elliptical. So, that was fun. Okay, maybe not *fun* but it felt like a nice step forward. Also, an unintended (awesome) consequence of this program is that we're sitting down to eat together as a family nearly every night. I love this. So often I brush off eating together because as a consequence of homeschooling and working from home, we're together allllll the time. But turns out, it's actually really nice to sit and have a meal together more than a couple nights a week, rather than zoning out in front of the boob tube most evenings.
Trail mix (walnuts, raisins, sunflower seeds, coconut chips), and black coffee.
Leftover red thai curry with cauliflower, sweet potatoes, and chicken thighs.
Whole roasted chicken with roasted carrots, and watermelon.
