Baked Pears are a delicious and simple dessert idea. Make baked pears in the oven while you eat dinner for a warm dessert.

large pears
sugar
vanilla
cinnamon
How Do You Make Baked Pears
Peel pears
Cut tops off pears
Scoop out seeds from middle
Stand pears in a pie plate
Mix cinnamon & sugar
Fill hollowed areas with sugar/cinnamon mix
Use remainder of cinnamon/sugar mix to coat pears
Pour vanilla into hollowed areas
Put tops back on pears
Pour remainder of vanilla over pears
Cover with tin foil
Bake at until pears are soft & easily pierced when poked with a fork. Serve with vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients
- 6 large pears
- 2 cups of sugar
- 1/4 cups vanilla
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Peel pears
- Cut tops off pears
- Scoop out seeds from middle
- Stand pears in a lidded dutch oven.
- Mix cinnamon & sugar
- Fill hollowed areas with sugar/cinnamon mix
- Use remainder of cinnamon/sugar mix to coat pears
- Pour vanilla into hollowed areas
- Put tops back on pears
- Pour remainder of vanilla over pears
- Cover with pears.
- Bake at 375 degrees for about 60 minutes (until pears are soft & easily pierced when poked with a fork).
- Serve with vanilla ice cream.
