Crock Pot Candy Ingredients
- Peanuts – Salted dry roasted peanuts and unsalted dry roasted peanuts. The combination gives you the perfect level of salty + sweet.
- White almond bark – You can also use white chocolate or candy melts.
- Chocolate – Semi-sweet chocolate chips and German’s sweet chocolate. We love this chocolate combination, but you can use all semi-sweet chips if you’d like.

Preparation
What kind of chocolate for crockpot candy?
We like a combination of semi-sweet chocolate morsels, Baker’s German’s Sweet Chocolate Bar, and almond bark.
That said, these can be made with any type of chocolate that you love so feel free to experiment and let us know how it goes in the comments!
Can I use different nuts in crock pot candy?
Yes! Peanuts are the classic option, but you can use any of your favorite nuts, or even a mix of nuts.
I’m partial to almonds and walnuts.
Storage and leftovers
How long does crockpot peanut candy last?
These will keep up to two weeks when kept at room temperature in a cool dry place and in a sealed/air tight container.
Can you freeze crockpot candy?
Yes! To get a jump on holiday treats feel free to freeze these. Wait until after they’re set then add to a freezer safe air-tight container.
Defrost in the refrigerator or at room temperature. I prefer to defrost in the refrigerator and then move to room temp to limit the amount of condensation that may collect as they thaw.
