Preparation
Can you make everything bagel dip ahead of time?
For sure! I actually find the flavors blend together better when it’s made at least a few hours in advance. You can definitely make it up to a few days in ahead.
What can I use instead of sour cream?
Add protein and drop calories by swapping the sour cream for plain Greek yogurt.
How do I make it spicy?
Add some heat with diced jalapeno, chili powder, or chipotle powder. Just note that if you add chili powder or chipotle powder it will change the color of the dip!
Storage and leftovers
How long does everything but the bagel dip last?
This recipe will keep in the fridge for up to about a week. Make sure to check the use-by date on the sour cream and cream cheese and definitely don’t keep it longer than the shorter of those dates.
Can you freeze everything bagel dip?
We do not recommend freezing this recipe.
What to enjoy with loaded bagel dip (serving suggestions)
