Preparation
Can you make pumpkin pudding shots ahead of time?
These can be made a day of time. Longer than that and you risk them starting to get watery or separating.
What flavor pudding mix for pumpkin pie shots?
We recommend a combination of cheesecake pudding mix and pumpkin spice pudding mix in this recipe.
If you prefer a straight pumpkin pie flavor, you can double the pumpkin pie mix and skip the cheesecake. We like the combo though!
How do you make non-alcoholic pumpkin pudding shooters?
Want to make these as mini desserts and safe for the kids instead of boozy? No problem, just swap the alcohol for an equal amount of milk or water and you’ll be set!
Storage and leftovers
How long do pudding shots last?
Leftovers will keep for up to 5 days. If making them ahead of time, it’s best not to make them more than one day in advance.
Can you freeze pudding shots?
We do not recommend freezing pudding shots.
Do they need to be refrigerated?
Premade shot and leftovers should be kept in the refrigerator.
