I’m not a big pork eater (unless it’s shredded and soaked in yummy juices), but Hubs said this came out ‘perfect’. So, I’ll take it! And, hey, I ate two helpings, so it’s got to be pretty good, right?
Ingredients:
– One boneless pork tenderloin (2-3lbs)
– One (.7 oz) package dry Italian-style salad dressing mix (I use Good Seasons brand)
– Half a bottle* (8 oz) Balsamic & Roasted Onion marinade (I use Ken’s Steak House brand)
Instructions:
– Add marinade to slow cooker.
– Coat pork loin in dry Italian dressing mix
– Add pork loin to slow roaster, turning once to coat with marinade.
– Cook on high 4-6 hours or low 8-10 hours.
– Optional finish – Pan sear the pork loin in olive oil before serving.
– Optional finish – Add juices to a sauce pan with a small amount of flour to thicken. Blend well and cook on stove top for 5- 10 minutes to create a super yummy gravy.
*If you like a lot of gravy, go ahead and add the whole bottle.

I have this on my menu this week. Question though…I wasn’t able to find that particular dressing/marinade at Walmart. I just picked up the Ken’s Balsamic Vinaigrette one. Where do I get the other one that you used? And — it is half of an 8oz bottle, right? Please email me the answers at spoiledchef at gmail dot com. Thanks!

Oh my gosh April! This was too die for! The gravy makes my mouth water! I also couldn’t find the marinade so I used the creamy balsamic dressing instead so yummy!! Thanks a bunch!

I just made this dish in the crock pot today and the only change I had to make was balsamic marinade. My store does not carry the one you mentioned in your recipe so I settled with balsamic vinaigrette dressing and I added onions and then used my immersion blender at the end. It was good; my husband loves pork and he liked the dish but he wanted to know what was the tangy taste in the gravy. If I can find the marinade that is written in your recipe it might be better.
Overall, it was good and my husband would like to have it again.
