Ingredients

pound
browned/crumbled sausage
I like to make a large batch ahead of time and freeze in 1lb portions
4
cups
shredded potato
4
cups
chicken stock
here's how to make it yourself
2
cups
sweet corn kernels
1
cup
heavy cream
whole milk or half & half will work too
optional: greens
My preference is mustard greens or kale, but a bag salad works just fine in a pinch!
Instructions
Add sausage, potato, corn, and stock to a slow cooker (here's the one I have and love) and stir. Cook high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours.
Stir in cream and cook an additional 15 minutes until everything is heated through again (don't let it boil).
Pour into bowls over greens and enjoy!
