gently crushed Raisin Bran
1 ¾
cups
all purpose flour

teaspoon
cinnamon

teaspoons
baking soda
½
teaspoon
salt
¾

butter
softened

sugar

egg

cup
molasses
Optional: extra raisins
Icing

cup
powdered sugar

tablespoons
whole milk
Instructions
Combine all of the cookie ingredients in a large bowl and mix well with an electric mixer.
For cookies: drop onto a silpat or parchment lined baking sheet (makes about 36 cookies).
For bars: Press into a parchment lined baking pan (minimum size 8x8).
Optional: press additional raisins into top of cookies/bars.
Bake at 350 degrees 10 - 12 minutes for cookies, and 15 - 20 minutes for bars (this will depend on how thick you make your bars).
While cookies/bars are baking, whisk together confectioners sugar and milk, adding the liquid slowly, until you reach desired consistency.
Allow cookies/bars to cool completely, then drizzle with icing.
