Instructions
Add the carrots and water to a saucepan. Bring the water to a boil, and cook the carrots until most of the water has evaporated and the carrots are tender, about 5 to 10 minutes.
Add the butter and brown sugar, and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Garnish with parsley before serving, if desired.
