Ingredients

strips thick cut bacon

garlic

heavy cream

beef stock
Instructions
In a stock pot, fry bacon over medium heat until nearly crispy.
Add garlic & red onion. Saute 3-5 minutes until onion is translucent.
Add mushrooms and garlic salt. Saute until mushrooms are tender.
Add stock and bring to a simmer, then add cream and continue to cook until heated through.
If desired, puree with an immersion blender until smooth.
