Ingredients

medium shell pasta

chopped dill pickles

cheddar cheese
cubed

red onion
finely diced

mayonnaise

sour cream

pickle juice

to taste
Instructions
Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse under cold water until cooled completely.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, pickle juice, fresh dill, salt, and pepper until smooth.
In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, chopped pickles, cheddar cheese, and red onion.
Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and stir until evenly coated.
Cover and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.

Extra sharp cheddar gives the salad lots of flavor, but Colby or mild cheddar work great too.
