Instructions
Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place in the slow cooker.
Pour the BBQ sauce over the chicken, spreading evenly to coat.
Cover and cook on high for 3–4 hours or low for 4–5 hours, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred using two forks.
Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir to coat in the sauce. Serve warm. Stir in additional sauce as desired.
