Options for the syrup:
Make our
homemade strawberry simple syrup
Purchase your favorite store-bought strawberry simple syrup (
Torani Strawberry Syrup
and Torani
Sugar Free Strawberry Syrup
are my personal favorites).
Recipe Notes:
Do not steep the tea longer than 5 minutes or it may become bitter.
Always dissolve the sugar while the water is hot to avoid a grainy texture.
Taste before adding ice because ice will dilute the flavor slightly.
If using store-bought strawberry syrup, start with less and adjust to taste.
Best served well chilled.
