Smoked salmon rolls are another treat from my south Florida upbringing. Again with the deli thing! I know! At the deli I would get this over a toasted white bagel. Mmmmmm. But my Paleobruhahaha doesn’t allow bagels. Boohoo. Actually, this is completely delicious with or without the bagel and since without the bagel means without the guilt, I’ll take it!
Smoked Salmon Roll Ingredients:
- smoked wild salmon (or nova lox, or lox)
- cream cheese
- red onion, thinly sliced
Smoked Salmon Roll Directions:
- Lay out your pieces of salmon (if they’re ginormo you may want to cut them down to a more reasonable size)
- Put a smear of cream cheese on each piece of salmon and top with onions and capers.
- Roll up and squeeze lemon juice over rolls.
