Ingredients
1
tablespoon
dried parsley
1
tablespoon
onion powder
½
tablespoon
garlic powder
1
teaspoon
Italian seasoning
1
teaspoon
dried basil
½
teaspoon
salt
½
teaspoon
black pepper
Instructions
Add all the measured dried spices to a clean dry bowl.
Mix thoroughly with a fork or a whisk, making sure to break up any clumps.
Carefully pour spice blend into an airtight container.
Store in a cool dry place until ready to use.
Notes
If you live in a humid area, you can add a
food safe silica packet
to the jar to help prevent clumping.
The spices may separate while stored, just go ahead and give the jar a shake or stir to mix them back up.
If you like a sweet touch to your spaghetti sauce, add ½ Tablespoon white granulated sugar to your spice mixture.
If you like a spicy or zesty spaghetti sauce, add ½ teaspoon crushed red peppers.
Double or triple the recipe and store in an airtight container for future use!
