Heartburn from Spicy Foods
Before I get into the recipes, I have to say, these burgers are delicious, but oh boy do they do a number on my frequent heartburn if I’m not careful. Thankfully, with Rite Aid Omeprazole ODT, I can keep my heartburn in check and enjoy all my favorite foods.
Remember pills and water? That’s the old way to take heartburn medicine. Now there’s a better way: Omeprazole Orally Disintegrating Tablets. They melt in your mouth, no water needed.
Omeprazole at Rite Aid
We ordered our Omeprazole ODT from Rite Aid – you can order online or pick-up from the store. Here’s a some important info about it!
- Dosage: 1 dose taken every 24 hours for 14 days. May take 1-4 days for full effect. Not intended for immediate relief.
- Omeprazole ODT is designed to treat the symptoms of frequent heartburn (meaning 2 or more days a week). Omeprazole ODT provides 24-hour relief for heartburn. Due to its long-lasting protection, this tablet is an ideal choice for frequent heartburn sufferers.
- While some may get relief in the first 24 hours, it may take 1-4 days for full effect. Omeprazole ODT should be taken in the morning before eating, not to be taken on the go at any time of day.
- Omeprazole ODT with MELTechTM allows the tablet to dissolve on your tongue easily. No glass of water needed for this tablet. This tablet works like the Store Brand Omeprazole Tablet currently available but in a new form – a dissolving tablet. Strawberry-flavored, for a pleasant taste.
- You should not take Omeprazole ODT for more than 14 days or more frequently than every four months unless directed by your doctor.
- 8 out of 10 Omeprazole users prefer an Orally Disintegrating Tablet*
*Based on a 2017 survey of heartburn sufferers who had used either national brand or store brand Omeprazole tablets within the last 12 months, 78% of survey participants responded that they would prefer an orally disintegrating tablet versus other over-the-counter (“OTC”) Omeprazole capsules or tablets to obtain heartburn relief.
How do you make a buffalo chicken burger? (Step-by-step)
⭐ First, combine all ingredients in a bowl.
⭐ Next, divide mixture into 4 equal parts. Form each part into a patty.
⭐ Then, heat oil in a large skillet and cook each patty until they reach a safe internal temperature, turning to brown both sides.
⭐ Finally, assemble the burgers with your favorite toppings and a heaping dollop of buffalo sauce and blue cheese crumbles.
Preparation
Can you make Buffalo chicken burgers ahead of time?
You can absolutely prepare the patties ahead, so all you’ll have to do is warm them up and assemble everything when you’re ready to eat. My husband even likes his cold!
What’s the difference between a buffalo chicken burger and a buffalo chicken sandwich?
The sandwich is traditionally made with a fried chicken breast, whereas the burger is prepared with ground meat like a hamburger.
Storage and leftovers
How long do Buffalo chicken burgers last?
Unassembled, they will last in the refrigerator for 3 – 4 days. Once assembled though, they are best eaten immediately or if you have leftovers no more than a day later.
Any longer than that and the bread will become soggy and unappetizing.
Can you freeze Buffalo chicken burgers?
You can freeze the patties! It’s a great idea to make extra patties and freeze them for an easy meal later.
To freeze, allow the patties to cool, then place in a freezer-safe storage container with parchment paper between them. Freeze up to 6 months.
What to eat with buffalo chicken burgers (serving suggestions)
These pair perfectly with a side of no-boil mac and cheese, and a heaping helping of potato wedges or roasted red potatoes. Add a little green with some broccoli salad, and don’t forget a cookies and cream milkshake for dessert!
