Are you getting tired of all the pumpkin and soup recipes yet? I sure hope not, because there’s still a few more coming! This Simple Pumpkin Spice Cake is one of my husband’s favorite treats, although he’ll swear to you up and down that he does not eat cake. Hahaha. Yes, he does. And I’m so glad it’s this cake, because, YUM.

Pumpkin Cake starts with vanilla cake mix and ends as a delicious fall treat!

Ingredients
 

  • one box vanilla cake mix
  • one can pumpkin 15 oz
  • one egg
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly (I used a hand held electric mixer for about 60 seconds).
  • Pour batter into a lightly greased, or parchment lined, 9" round baking pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 40 minutes.
  • Allow to cool at least ten minutes before removing from pan.
  • ENJOY!

    By all the ingredients do you mean the ones on the spice cake box for easy carrot cake ? Then how much raisins

    1. This is a pumpkin cake recipe. I’m not sure what you’re asking. There are no carrots or raisins in this recipe. Sorry!
