Apple Cider Pork Barbecue Ribs.

Apple Cider Pork Barbecue Ribs.

These Apple Cider Pork Barbecue Ribs are the ultimate summer party food! Happy Fourth of July! My husband's college roommate taught me this simple rib cooking technique and it's not let us down yet. These ribs come out tender, juicy and downright finger-licking gooood.

---------------------

Apple Cider Pork Barbecue Rib Ingredients:
  • Pork ribs
  • Apple cider (enough to cover your ribs in a stock pot)
  • Barbecue sauce (I love Sweet Baby Ray's)

Apple Cider Pork Barbecue Rib Directions:

  1. Cut ribs into individually portioned pieces.
  2. Bring the cider to a boil in a large stock pot and add ribs.
  3. Bring back to a boil and then reduce to a simmer for forty-five minutes.
  4. Take pot off heat and allow meat to rest for at least fifteen minutes.
  5. Smother with barbecue sauce and place on an uncovered medium heat grill for ten minutes on each side, re-basting as necessary.*
  6. Enjoy!

* This last step can also be done under the broiler in your oven.

  1. Mmmmmm, yummmmm... we just started doing BBQ pork ribs last summer - I slow bake them for about 1 1/2 - 2 hours on 250, then grill for about 30 minutes. They are awesome!! I need to try the parboil method. :)
