Preparation
What kind of dough for monkey bread?
This recipe calls for biscuit dough. You can absolutely make the dough from scratch but we used Grands biscuits in this recipe.
Our pizza dough recipe or French bread dough would also work!

You can prep the recipe by putting it all together and then covering it tightly with plastic wrap or foil (before baking) and keeping it in the refrigerator overnight.
Allow it to warm at room temperature for about 15 minutes before baking.
Storage and leftovers
Do you have to refrigerate leftover monkey bread?
No, leftovers should be covered tightly, but can be kept at room temperature for up to two days.
For longer storage, refrigerate for up to 5 days.
How do you reheat monkey bread?
I find it is best reheated in the microwave in individual portions. Heat on high power for 30 – 60 seconds or until warmed to your liking.
