Side dishes are no longer a fight when you serve up this Easy Cheesy Rice and Broccoli Recipe with dinner. It’s one of the few side dishes we have that absolutely everyone in our house will eat. And for good reason, it’s delicious!
Easy Cheesy Rice & Broccoli Recipe Ingredients:
- 1 Cup uncooked brown rice
- 1 & 1/2 half Cups chopped broccoli florets
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 4 slices American Cheese
Easy Cheesy Rice & Broccoli Recipe Directions:
- Prepare brown rice according to package directions. About five to ten minutes before rice is finished (depending on how well cooked you like your broccoli), add the broccoli florets to your pot of cooking rice.
- When rice and broccoli are fully cooked and prepared per rice package instructions, return to low heat and add seasoned salt and cheese slices. Stir well until melted and fully incorporated.
- Serve and enjoy!
