Toasted Ravioli Ingredients
- Ravioli – Frozen ravioli. You’ll want flat/square shaped ravioli for this recipe. We like the cheese stuffed ravioli, but this can be made with meat ravioli also.
- Breadcrumbs – Italian style breadcrumbs.
- Parmesan cheese – Grated parmesan cheese. The shelf stable kind in the green plastic canister works great!
- Eggs – Large, beaten.
- Oil – Optional, for browning.

How do you make toasted ravioli? (step-by-step)
⭐ First, in a small prep bowl mix the breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese. In a second bowl whisk your eggs.
⭐ Then, dip each ravioli into the beaten eggs followed by the breadcrumbs. Press ravioli into the breadcrumbs to make sure they stick.
⭐ Next, if desired, spray lightly on both sides with oil and place in a single layer on your baking surface.
⭐ Finally, cook until browned on both sides and heated through, flipping half way through cook time.

To make this in the oven, place prepped ravioli on a parchment lined cooking sheet and bake at 400F for about 15 minutes, turning halfway through the cook time.
If you have a convection setting on your oven, this will crisp them up even more!
Air fryer toasted ravioli
You can make toasted ravioli in the air fryer as well! Cook at 350F for about 10 minutes, turning half way through the cook time.

Do you need to defrost frozen ravioli first?
No, this can be made without defrosting the ravioli. I actually think starting with frozen keeps the center from turning into molten lava so they’re more enjoyable to eat.
What kind of ravioli for toasted ravioli?
The flat square shape found in the freezer section of your market will work best. We prefer cheese filled, but you can use whatever stuffing you love!

Can you make toasted ravioli ahead of time?
Yes, if you want to make these ahead of time, you’ll want to just undercook them (think 2 – 4 minutes less) until they’re cooked but not quite browned yet. Store in the refrigerator or freezer in an air tight container.
Reheat them to toasty browned in the oven or air fryer right before you’re ready to eat!
How long does toasted ravioli last?
Leftovers will keep in the refrigerator for 2 – 3 days or longer in the freezer.
Can you freeze toasted ravioli?
Absolutely! You can freeze and later reheat the leftovers, or you can work ahead and prep then freeze them.

This recipe is inspired by the one served at Olive Garden restaurants! You’ll have to try it and tell me how we did!
I like to make these with cheese filled ravioli, but meat would also be yummy.
What to eat with toasted ravioli (serving suggestions)
Definitely a delicious marinara! You can try our slow cooker spaghetti sauce or blender spaghetti sauce, or just grab your favorite jarred version from the grocery store.
Add this to your antipasto platter as an appetizer or serve it alongside homemade meatballs and fettuccine alfredo!
You could also serve these with ranch dressing to dip!
