Tropical Popsicle Ingredients

- Raspberries – Small diced.
- Strawberries – Small diced.
- Unsweetened pineapple juice – Apple or grape juice also work well.
Tropical Popsicles Recipe, Directions:
- layer fruit into popsicle mold (this is my very favorite popsicle mold ever)
- pour in pineapple juice (tap to get bubbles out), and push sticks in about half way
- freeze overnight and ENJOY!
Upon arriving home from our cruise (thank you so much for hosting us, Princess!), I craved fresh fruit (especially pineapple!) like crazy. And living in Florida, I thought what better than to turn my fruit obsession into popsicles.
I didn’t want to go crazy on the sugar – fruit being naturally sweet and all – so we only used whole fruit and a little bit of unsweetened juice. Verdict = DELICIOUS.
Silly us, in Cartagena we didn’t have any shaved ice or cold foods – but we did try some delicious arepas con queso from a street vendor (corn dough from the griddle with melted cheese inside), chocolate tea (yes! yum!), and sausage empanadas (definitely need to recreate that one!). I absolutely love sampling local foods – do you?
Have you ever considered a cruise? Definitely check out all the incredible destinations and itineraries Princess Cruises has to offer. We took a ten day Caribbean cruise to the panama canal on the Coral Princess as a (very) belated honey moon and it was absolutely magical.
