Why is cabbage SO GOOD?! This delicious Asian Slaw comes together in a jiffy and has the perfect amount of sweetness and crunch.
This Asian Slaw (I’m really sorry, Asian friends. I don’t think there even is coleslaw in Asian culture. At least not unfermented. Please forgive me.) comes together in a jiffy and adds the perfect amount of sweetness and crunch.
We made the pulled pork in our slow cooker while we were out for the day and then came home to enjoy this awesome meal. Jonathan waited patiently for the whopping 3 minutes it took me to get everything together, but Josie was quite angry! Hah!
Asian Slaw
Asian Slaw Ingredients
- Shredded cabbage
- Mayonnaise
- Rice wine vinegar
- Soy sauce
- Honey
- Optional garnish: toasted sesame seeds
How do you make Asian slaw?
★ First, whisk together liquid ingredients
★ Next, pour it over shredded cabbage and stir until everything is evenly coated.
★ Finally, garnish with sesame seeds.
P.S. I’ve eaten this Asian Slaw for lunch like 6 days in a row. Okay, maybe four, but a lot because I called dibs on all the leftovers. I’m pretty sure my husband stole some for a late night snack yesterday, but I suppose I can forgive him. This once.
The first few days I ate it on a soft tortilla, and then I started throwing it all in a bowl because yummmmm.

For the pork, we used Campbell’s Slow Cooker Sauce, Sweet Korean BBQ. The package says to use beef, but *gasp* I chose pork instead. It was thoroughly delicious.

Thank you so much for sharing!!!!!!! I was looking for this exact type of recipe while doing a search for Korean Cole slaw. I have no desire to use formented cabbage in ANYTHING! So just a nice crispy slaw for my Korean tacos. I did add a tsp of ginger and garlic and this stuff is AMAZING! Hopefully my roast will shred nicely and make some amazing tacos tonight. Thanks again!
