CHEESEBURGER SLIDERS RECIPE

Step By Step Directions

  1. Start by browning the ground beef in a skillet over high heat. Add the Worcestershire sauce and seasonings as it cooks, breaking the meat up until it’s fully browned. Drain any excess grease if needed, then remove the skillet from the heat.
  2. Stir the shredded cheddar, mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard directly into the hot beef mixture. The heat helps everything melt together into a rich, cheesy filling.
  3. Place the bottom halves of the dinner rolls on a lined baking sheet. Spread the beef mixture evenly over the rolls, then layer on the American cheese slices. If you’re using pickles, add them now. Place the top halves of the rolls over everything.
  4. Brush the tops generously with melted butter and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning. Bake at 350°F until the sliders are hot, the cheese is melted, and the tops are golden. Let them rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Frequently asked questions

Can I make cheeseburger sliders ahead of time?

Yes. You can fully assemble the sliders, cover them tightly, and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before baking. For best results, brush with melted butter and add the everything bagel seasoning just before baking.

What type of rolls work best for cheeseburger sliders?

Soft dinner rolls work best, such as Hawaiian-style or classic white rolls. Avoid crusty rolls, as they won’t soften the same way when baked.

Can I reheat leftover cheeseburger sliders?

Yes. Leftover sliders reheat well in the oven or air fryer at 325°F until warmed through, or in the microwave for a quicker option.

Can I substitute the cheese?

Absolutely. Cheddar, Colby Jack, Monterey Jack, or even pepper jack all work well depending on your flavor preference and what you have on hand.
