This is one of my favorite ways to use leftover pulled pork because it feels completely different from just reheating a plate of barbecue the next day. The soft rolls soak up all that meaty flavor while the slaw and pickles add the perfect crunch and tangy bite. It’s messy in the best possible way.

These sliders are perfect for game day, summer cookouts, easy weeknight dinners, or feeding a hungry crowd without spending all day in the kitchen. They come together in about 10 minutes, and the hardest part might be keeping people from grabbing them before you’re finished assembling them.

Why You’ll Love These Sliders
They’re fast, filling, and packed with flavor. The combination of sweet rolls, smoky pork, creamy coleslaw, tangy pickles, and barbecue sauce hits every possible craving at once. Since you’re using already-cooked pulled pork, there’s basically no real cooking involved.
They’re also super customizable. Use your favorite barbecue sauce, your favorite coleslaw, spicy pickles, sweet pickles, homemade seasonings, store bought seasoning, whatever works for your family.
And if you’re feeding a crowd? These are absolute gold.

Ingredients You’ll Need
- Hawaiian rolls
- Pulled pork
- Coleslaw
- Dill pickles
- BBQ sauce
- Butter
- BBQ seasoning
- Minced parsley (optional)
Step By Step Directions
Start by placing the Hawaiian rolls on a cutting board and carefully slicing them in half horizontally so you have one large top layer and one large bottom layer.
Leave the bottoms on the cutting board and evenly spread the heated pulled pork over the rolls.
Top the pork with the coleslaw, spreading it evenly across the sliders.
Place a pickle chip over each slider section, then drizzle barbecue sauce over the top.
Carefully place the tops of the rolls back on.
In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter and BBQ seasoning. Brush the mixture over the tops of the rolls. Sprinkle with parsley if desired.
Serve immediately while everything is fresh and delicious.

Tips & Tricks
- These sliders are definitely best served right after assembling. The slaw and sauce will eventually make the rolls soggy if they sit too long.
- If you’re serving these for a party, you can prep everything ahead of time and simply assemble right before serving.
- You can absolutely adjust the amount of barbecue sauce depending on how saucy you like your sandwiches. I tend to go heavy because nobody has ever accused me of under-saucing anything.
- If you don’t have BBQ seasoning, garlic salt or an all-purpose seasoning blend works great too.

Storage
I don’t recommend storing fully assembled sliders because the rolls will soften too much. Instead, store the pulled pork, slaw, and toppings separately and assemble fresh when ready to eat.
