Air Fryer Corn on the Cob Ingredients
- Corn – On the cob. Fresh is best, but you can also use frozen corn on the cob.
- Oil – We are partial to olive oil, but any vegetable oil will work.
- Seasonings – I typically use salt and pepper (as pictured), but feel free to mix it up with your favorite seasoning combinations.

How do you make corn on the cob in the air fryer? (step-by-step)

Preparation
What kind of oil is the best?
I love olive oil for the flavor (the bolder the better in my opinion!), but you can use whatever kind of oil you love.
If you’re worried about the air fryer smoking, try an oil with a high smoke point like avocado oil, almond oil, corn oil, canola oil, grapeseed oil, peanut oil, safflower oil, sesame oil, or sunflower oil.
Can you cook frozen corn in the air fryer?
Yes, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t say fresh corn definitely works best. That said, if you want to cook frozen corn on the cob in the air fryer, allow it to thaw, pat dry with a clean cloth or paper towel, and then cook according to recipe directions.

Storage and leftovers
Can you make air fryer corn on the cob ahead of time?
This is really best when made right before serving. Thankfully it’s super easy, so no big deal!
How do you reheat leftover corn on the cob in the air fryer?
Preheat the air fryer as directed in the recipe directions below, add corn to air fryer basket, and allow to reheat 3 – 5 minutes or as long as desired, until heated through.
