Preparation
Can s’mores campfire cones be made ahead of time?
You can fill the cones ahead of time but these do not reheat well so heat bake until you are ready to enjoy them.
What type of chocolate chips to use?
We like to use semi sweet chocolate chips to cut down on the sweetness but you can also use milk chocolate chips or white chocolate chips.
What type of candy to top the stuffed caramel s’mores cones?
We like to use Rolos for this recipe to add in delicious melted caramel but you can use a variety of small bite-sized candies in place of Rolos like hershey kiss, peanut butter cups or bite size milky way.

Storage and leftovers
How to store leftover stuffed caramel s’mores cones?
These don’t store or reheat well so it’s best to enjoy them right after the initial bake time.
Can you freeze stuffed caramel s’mores cones?
We do not recommend freezing this recipe.

Tips and tricks
✅ Swap out Rolos for another bite sized candy option.
✅ Add peanut butter or nutella to the layers in the cone.
✅ Fill these and wrap them ahead of time and then cook them just before you’re ready to serve.
✅ Be careful when removing the tin foil after baking as the chocolate and marshmallows will be hot!

What to enjoy with campfire cones (serving suggestions)
These stuffed cones are a simple and fun treat to serve at slumber parties, backyard BBQs or while you’re camping! We like to make them with other treats like peanut butter bars, potato candy, and millionaire pie.

Tools we love
- Spoons – Are you a large spoon or small spoon person? My husband teases me because I use a teaspoon for everything.
- Wooden spatula – My wooden spatulas are my absolute favorite to stir with. I don’t know why, but I feel like a real cook when I use them.
