This nacho fries recipe is perfect for a spin on taco night or turn it into a fun taco bar for feeding a crowd! We like to make this one with crock pot queso blanco, refried beans, and a gordita crunch!

How do you make Taco Bell nacho fries at home? (step-by-step directions)
⭐ First, toss the frozen french fries with one of the envelopes of taco seasoning, making sure to coat them well. Place the fries in either the oven or the air fryer and cook until crispy.
⭐ Next, in a medium skillet, brown the ground beef and drain any excess grease. Add the other envelope of taco seasoning and the water. Stir and mix until well combined. Continue to simmer.
⭐ Then, warm up the refried beans in a small saucepan on medium low or in a microwave safe bowl until warmed through. Heat the nacho cheese in a separate bowl in the same way.
⭐ Finally, place the fries on a plate, add the taco meat, beans and nacho cheese. Then top with sour cream, scallions and tomatoes.

Preparation
Can you make nacho fries ahead of time?
This dish is best served immediately after making it because the fries are nice and crispy. Any leftovers would get soggy in the fridge so we do not recommend making this dish ahead.
What kind of taco seasoning to use?
We like to use Taco Bell taco seasoning as this is a copycat recipe for nacho supreme fries but any brand of taco seasoning will work.
What is the best way to cook the fries?
We like to make fries in the air fryer so they get nice and crispy but you can also make the fries in the oven if you don’t have an air fryer.
Storage and leftovers
Can you store leftover nacho fries?
We don’t recommend storing the leftovers as the fries will get soggy.
Can you freeze nacho fries?
We do not recommend freezing this recipe.
