Garlic knots are an easy recipe to make with crescent roll (or pizza dough), butter, and garlic. Make sure you add them to your next spaghetti dinner!

My favorite part about going to eat at an authentic Italian restaurant is the delicious garlic knots. So, when we decided to have spaghetti for dinner tonight, I was inspired to try my own quickie version. Try them with our blender pasta sauce, or one pot lasagna!

Garlic Knots Ingredients

  • Crescent roll dough – You could also use a quick just add water pizza mix, or if you’re feeling ambitious, our traditional pizza dough recipe.
  • Butter – Salted butter, please!
  • Garlic – Minced garlic.  Fresh is going to give you the most intense flavor, but if you’re in a pinch, pre-minced garlic will work too!
  • Optional – whisked egg, parsley.

HOW TO MAKE GARLIC KNOTS

How do you make quick garlic knots? (Step-by-step)

First, roll each crescent triangle into a snake, and make a simple knot. (If using pizza dough, divide dough evenly into the number of rolls you want, then do the same).

Next, place knots on a parchment or silpat lined baking sheet, then if you’d like, baste with whisked egg.  Bake according to dough directions, or until golden brown and cookie through.

Then, while knots are baking, melt butter in a sauce pan on the stove top, and add garlic. Saute until fragrant, then set aside.

Finally, when knots are done baking, toss in garlic butter and garnish with parsley.
