Deep Dish Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie.

This Deep Dish Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie is an ooey gooey chocolatey mess of sweet heaven, only made better when served warm with a dollop of vanilla ice cream. It's also a simple dish that helps keep little hands busy in the kitchen.

Deep Dish Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie

Deep Dish Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie Ingredients:
  • 1 roll refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
  • semi sweet chocolate chips
  • chopped walnuts (optional)
  • vanilla ice cream

Deep Dish Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie Directions:

  1. Press half the cookie dough into the bottom of a 9 inch oval casserole dish.
  2. Sprinkle a layer of chocolate chips and chopped walnuts over the cookie dough.
  3. Crumble the remaining half of cookie dough over top of the chocolate chips.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 25 minutes, until the top of the cookie pie is turning a golden brown.
  5. Allow to cool for about ten minutes, then serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

We have a problem... I might just make this more than I should and not share with anyone. Wait, is that really a problem? Haha, looks delicious, great entry!

A great recipe for kitchens with kids. Your helper is quite intent on his task :-). This is my first visit to your blog, so I took some time to browse through your earlier posts. I'm so glad I did that. I really like the food and recipes you share with your readers and I'll definitely be back. I hope you have a great day. Blessings...Mary
