This Cranberry Cheese Ball made with honey and walnuts is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. And if you’d rather have it as a passing style appetizer, just make mini balls!
I’m looking forward to bringing it to our annual Nasty Christmas party. The party’s nasty, but the food is fantastic! Serve it alongside bacon stuffed mushrooms and hot spinach artichoke dip.

Cranberry Cheese Ball Ingredients
- Goat cheese – Plain, allow to come to room temperature
- Honey – I love fancy honey, but any kind will work.
- Dried cranberries – If you can’t find plain dried cranberries, Craisins will work as well. I prefer the low sugar version.
- Walnuts – Chopped or blitzed in a food processor.

I don't understand: How is a recipe using cheese in any form "Paleo"?
April says
Hi! Many paleo folks reincorporate dairy (especially goat milk/cheese) if they find that it doesn't cause any ill effects for them. Thanks for the comment 🙂

Have you tried this with pecans instead of walnuts?
April Woods says
I haven’t, but pecans go great with goat cheese so I’m sure it would be delicious!
