⭐ Next, add in the Lucky Charms and the rest of the mini marshmallows and gently fold together until the cereal is well incorporated into the marshmallow mixture.
⭐ Then, spray a cake pan with nonstick cooking spray and add the mixture to the pan. Gently spread evenly in the pan.
⭐ Last, sprinkle the remaining Lucky Charms over the top and lightly press them in to ensure the cereal sticks to the top. Let rest until the cereal bars are set.

Preparation
Can you make Lucky Charms treats ahead of time?
Yes, these can be made a day or two in advance. Store in an airtight container at room temperature until ready to serve.
Can you add extra marshmallows to Lucky Charms treats?
Absolutely! You can add 2-3 more cups of marshmallows to this recipe if you like them extra gooey!
Why are my Lucky Charms treats hard?
There are a couple of possible culprits for tough Lucky Charms treats:
- Too much cooking: If you cook the butter and marshmallow together too long it will make the sugars harder. You’ll want to cook them only until they’ve just melted and combined.
- Pressed into the pan too hard: When you press the warm mixture into your pan, do so gently and just enough for them to take shape. If you condense them too much they will be hard and difficult to eat.
Storage and leftovers
How long do Lucky Charms treats last?
These will keep up to 5 days when stored at room temperature in an airtight container.
Can you freeze Lucky Charms treats?
We do not recommend freezing this recipe.
