Key Lime Pie

Key Lime Pie is the ultimate Florida summer treat! Sweet, tart, light and refreshing; it's the perfect dessert to follow your afternoon barbecue!
Key Lime Pie

Key Lime Pie Ingredients:
  • 3/4ths cup key lime juice (or as much as 1 cup if you prefer a more tart pie)
  • 2 cans sweetened condensed milk (14 ounce cans)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 graham cracker pie crust (9" if you want an overfilled pie like the one pictured, or 11" if you're planning to do a meringue on top)

Key Lime Pie Directions:
  1. Combine key lime juice, sweetened condensed milk and eggs in a bowl and beat with an electric mixer until the ingredients are well blended.
  2. Pour into pie crust and bake at 375 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes.
  3. Allow to cool & serve!

*Note: I am a firm believer that key lime pie is best served chilled with a large dollop of fresh whipped cream on top!
