Preparation

Can you make strawberry milkshakes ahead of time?

These are really best when made right before serving. If you want to get things ready ahead of time, go ahead and prep your strawberries a day or two before using.

Fresh or frozen strawberries for milkshakes?

My personal preference is fresh because you can find the most ripe strawberries this way, but frozen strawberries will also be delicious!

What kind of milk?

Absolutely, 100%, the super secret way to make the very best strawberry milkshakes is to use strawberry milk!  It’s gotta be that triple threat!

What kind of ice cream?

Just like with the milk, we want that layered strawberry flavor so definitely use strawberry ice cream! The higher quality ice cream the better, too.
