Candy Corn Fudge Ingredients
- White chocolate chips – You’ll typically find these in the baking section of your market near or next to the regulare chocolate chips. I find the Ghirardelli chips melt best. You can also use white melting candies.
- White frosting – Buttercream or vanilla frosting will also work if you’re unable to find white frosting.
- Candy corn – I like the traditional orange, yellow, and white cone shaped candy corn available around Halloween.
Melt the chips, mix in the frosting, then fold in the candy corn.
How do you make candy corn fudge? (step-by-step)
⭐ First, melt white chocolate chips in your microwave or on the stove top.
⭐ Then, mix in frosting until smooth, working quickly so it doesn’t seize up as it cools.
⭐ Next, fold in the candy corn, and spread into a parchment lined loaf pan.
⭐ Finally, chill in the refrigerator to set.
Spread into a parchment lined dish and chill to set.
Preparation
What is the best way to melt the white chocolate chips?
I find the easiest way is to use a glass bowl and microwave in short (15 second) increments, stirring in between.
You can also melt using a double boiler, or on low heat in a pan on the stove top, stirring constantly.
Storage and leftovers
How do you store candy corn fudge?
After the fudge has set, it can be stored at room temperature in a sealed container. It can also be stored in the refrigerator or freezer.
Can you freeze candy corn fudge?
Fudge can be frozen for two to three months. Best practice is to wrap it tightly in plastic wrap, then place in a freezer bag, while it is still in a block (before it is cut). Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before slicing.
How long does candy corn fudge last?
Your fudge will last 2 – 3 days at room temperature, 3 – 5 days in the refrigerator, or up to three months in the freezer. In theory. It’s never around more than a day in our house!
Slice into bite size pieces.
Tips and Tricks
🟢 Make sure not to scorch the white chocolate chips when melting by stirring constantly. If you’re using a microwave, never let them go for more than 15 seconds without stirring.
🟢 Allowing the fudge to set in the fridge for a few hours before slicing will make it easier to get clean sharp cuts. (Don’t be like me and cut while it’s still warm).
🟢 Swiping the knife with vegetable oil will also help give you a perfectly clean cut!
So fun and yummy!

I know I’m in the minority, but I LOVE candy corn! This fudge is so awesome. Combines 2 of my favorites: fudge and candy corn! I’m thinking about putting sprinkling some peanuts on top of half next time I make this. Whether I do or not, I am POSITIVE it will be gone in no time! YUM!!

I see the ingredients call for white chips, but the directions say butterscotch chips. Do you know which is correct?
